Open an account VirusOn: 2010-04-28
A new variation has been spotted entitled "Open an account"
This virus comes in via e-mail with an attached zip file. The file is named Conract_27.04.2010.zip with a executable file entitled Conract_27.04.2010.doc.exe as you can see the file has a double extension to make you think it is a normal Microsoft Word document. The date in the file name updates to make it appear that the file is recent.
The main body reads:-
Good afternoon,
We have prepared a contract and added the paragraphs that you wanted to see in it
Our lawyers made alterations on the last page. If you agree with all the provisions we are ready to make the payment on Friday for the first consignment.
We are enclosing the file with the prepared contract.
If necessary, we can send it by fax. Looking forward to your decision.

This e-mail does not have any personalisation in it so is quite easy to spot as a virus with the only exception is the date in the file name. As always do not open the file.
